What To Expect At A Microblading Appointment At Opm

Whether you’re just curious about microblading or you’ve already set your heart on getting gorgeous new brows, it’s good to know what to expect at a microblading appointment.

Microblading artists at Organic Permanent Makeup (OPM) are always very accommodating when it comes to explaining microblading procedures to clients. But if you want to be ahead of the learning curve, then that’s great! Read on below to know what to expect at a microblading appointment.

What is microblading?

Microblading is a process where a pigment is manually implanted directly under the skin by the use of nanoneedles.

OPM pigments come from 100% natural ingredients, so you’re one hundred percent sure there’ll be no side effects or any untimely discoloration.

Combined with the expertise of OPM artists, you’ll have fuller-looking, natural eyebrows in no time.

Before the microblading appointment

A standard appointment will have a required consultation prior to the procedure.

During the consultation, you determine the shape, design and color of your eyebrows. Your OPM artist will ask about your preference, as well, like whether you prefer a natural or a bold eyebrow.

With a waterproof eyebrow pencil, your OPM artist will then draw directly on your face. This will later act as a guide during the actual microblading. After this, you’ll be able to see what the final outcome will look like.

If you’re nervous or unsure about what you want, don’t worry! OPM microblading artists will guide you all throughout. They’re trained to advice you on the appropriate shape and color that best suits your skin and the frame of your face.

During the microblading appointment

At OPM, we apply topical anesthesia before we start the actual microblading. Your discomfort will therefore be minimal.

OPM microblading artists use a manual tool to draw fine lines that mimic natural eyebrow hair. This gives you a natural finish and a striking new look.

But don’t take our word for it. Check out this short video of the OPM microblading process:

Know also that you won’t be bleeding; what to expect at a microblading appointment, however, are tiny beads of blood that will appear before they clot immediately.

Rest assured that OPM microblading academy graduates know the correct incision depth to avoid bleeding.

After the microblading appointment

Once the excess pigment is wiped off your face, it’s time to celebrate. You will be able to see your new and gorgeous look—a look that will last you two to five years.

And take note: you can now go back to work or do any of your normal everyday activities right after the microblading process. That’s right; microblading at OPM has no downtime.

However, it is advisable to get your brows retouched once a year. This is not only a part of your maintenance but a good chance for you to slightly change the color or shape as you wish. New eyebrow trend? No problem.

Without retouching, the applied pigments will fade. A touch-up appointment lasts between 30 minutes and 2 hours anyway, so it won’t be much of a trouble.
