Celebrities With Permanent Makeup

Convincing clients to come in for microblading isn’t always a piece of cake. And it’s totally understandable—permanent makeup is a big step to take for anyone, especially if it’s on their face.

But sometimes, all they need is a little nudge. Why not let their favorite stars help you convince them? Take a look at this list of Hollywood celebrities with permanent makeup.

Star power can help sales

When you’re a starting business, it’s practically impossible to afford a celebrity endorsement. But that doesn’t mean you can’t harness a celeb’s star power to your advantage.

Once you’re making your pitch or drafting a marketing email, don’t hesitate to mention all the big names who underwent microblading. You never know how many people you’ll convince.

Microblading misconceptions

You have to understand: for some people, permanent makeup is still a scary idea.

Everyone has their reasons that put them off from getting permanent makeup. That’s why a “recommendation” from a celebrity can be very, very powerful.

To help you understand why people get cagey about microblading, here are some of their possible reasons behind the reluctance:

  • “Microblading looks painful.” Well, honestly, it does. Or, if not painful, then intimidating at the very least. That’s why we need to emphasize that microblading is pretty much painless, thanks to the topical anesthetics we use.
  • “Microblading looks expensive.” This particular misconception might not be addressed by giving celebrities as examples of permanent makeup enthusiasts. Best thing you can do instead is to offer clients promos. Additionally, explain why investing in microblading is cheaper than buying eyebrow makeup.
  • “Microblading looks unsafe.” Emphasize the importance of sanitation and sterilization in the maintenance of microblading tools. Point out that you make sure all tools and equipment are properly cleaned before and after each procedure. You should also present them with a list of client exceptions to prove that you don’t perform on ineligible clients.
  • “Microblading may not look good on me.” Always have your portfolio ready to present, and have your previous works displayed prominently on your site and social media. Clients will see that you can work on different people, and that all those people look good.

Why celebs get permanent makeup

Clients might wonder—why would an A-lister get microblading when they always have a team of makeup artists anyway?

The answer will, of course, vary depending on which star you ask. But what’s universal is this: everyone wants to look good—but everyone is busy.

In a day filled with agent meetings, personal errands, filming, and photo shoots, a mere 30 minutes is crucial. If a person could save their time, why wouldn’t they do it?

That, and they probably want to avoid unflattering paparazzi photos.

For us non-celebs, time is perhaps even more important. Not all of our meetings result in million dollar deals, after all. Where there’s a chance we can use our time better, we should go ahead and grab it.

And that is the very power permanent makeup gives us.
